On September 29, 2013 Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco Sergiy Aloshyn took part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Catholic Mission in Santa Clara with the representatives of the Consulate General of Ukraine, the parishioners of this mission and the Ukrainian community in North California.
 

 Divine Liturgy was held by Bishop Richard Semeniuk in Carmelite Monastery Chapel, built in the style of the Spanish Renaissance. After the liturgy, there was a concert with a slide show about a history of the Ukrainian Catholic Mission of St. Volodymyr in Santa Clara, Ukrainian songs and dance performances.
