Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the best known symbolic figures of the Ukrainian nation, famous poet, painter and playwright Taras Shevchenko, the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco presents the exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Taras Shevchenko, which is open from February 1 till April 16, 2014 at the address:  100 Larkin St., San Francisco CA 94102 (International Center, Main Library, 3rd Floor)).

In this exhibit, you will find reproductions of some of Taras Shevchenko's famous artworks, facts of his life, as well as the artworks of  famous Ukrainian painter Vasyl Lopata who has created pictures from Shevchenko's world-known poems.
