On March 22, 2014 the official opening of the photo exhibition "Ukraine through the eyes of the National Geographic Society," organized by the Ukrainian-American Society of Tucson on the initiative of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, took place in University of Arizona in Tucson.

The exhibition has gained considerable popularity and was attended by the academic circles of Arizona as well as representatives of the Ukrainian-American community.

In October, 2013 the exhibition was initially open at the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA in the presentation of the Ukrainian version of the journal "National Geographic".  It consists of about 40 unique photos of Ukraine taken over almost a 100 years starting from August 1918 through October 2013 and it represents the historic, cultural and economic aspects of the Ukrainian life within the century.

The Exhibition is open from March 3 till March 31, 2014 at the University of Arizona, Students Union Center, 3d Floor.
