On April 16-20, 2018 the 27th annual RSA Conference on Cybersecurity was held in San Francisco. Over 42,000 representatives of private companies, government agencies, research institutions and non-governmental organizations attended it. More than 650 companies have represented their technologies to combat cyberattacks.
Over 550 sessions and seminars on various topics related to cybersecurity, in particular artificial intelligence, data confidentiality, technology and innovation history, etc. were held within the framework of the Conference.
The speakers at these events were about 770 representatives of large companies, including multinational corporations such as IBM, Google, Microsoft, Intel, Dell, Hewlett Packard, General Electric, Facebook, Cisco, Salesforce, Verizon, Comcast, ESET, McAfee, Avast, Symante, Ford, Walmart, AIG, Samsung, Chevron, etc.
Among the key speakers were representatives of the United States federal agencies, in particular the Federal Telecommunications Commission, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Security Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice and the Department of Commerce.
For the first time Ukraine was represented at this important Conference. In particular, the "Ekran System" company from the city of Dnipro had a booth, which presented its technology against cyberattacks. The Ukrainian company’s booth, among whose are clients such well-known corporations as UPS and Deloitte, has attracted a lot of interest to the visitors of the Conference.
The participation of Ukrainian companies in the annual large-scale RSA Conference, which is the biggest global venue for the presentation of technologies for combating cyber threats and cyber attacks, will be of great importance for enhancing the prospects for establishing fruitful cooperation with leading international partners and investment funds in this area.
The next annual RSA Conference will be held on March 4-8, 2019 in San Francisco.
