The Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, in partnership with the largest Utah tech community, Silicon Slopes, organized the ‘Bridges Between Utah & Ukrainian Tech’ event in Salt Lake City on November 18, 2022. The purpose of the event is to encourage leading tech companies of the state of Utah to collaborate with Ukrainian exporters of IT services during these difficult times.
During the event, a specialized website www.hireukrainetech.com was introduced, allowing American customers to find a Ukrainian contractor company that would be the best fit for their business needs.
The Consul General of Ukraine in San Francisco, Dmytro Kushneruk, spoke at the event and provided an update on the current situation in Ukraine, urging Utah technology sector companies to continue working with Ukrainian developers. "Ukrainian tech engineers are amazing. Despite the problems caused by Russian aggression in our country, they continue to work and provide high-quality services. Placing orders in Ukraine is the most important thing the American tech community can do right now to support our developers and the Ukrainian economy," the Ukrainian diplomat stated.
In addition, the Consul General introduced Ukrainian state digital projects, such as Diia, United24, and NAZOVNI.
