On September 17, 2013 in the premises of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco Consul General Sergiy Aloshyn met with Rector of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" Michael Zgurovsky.

During the meeting they discussed the prospects of direct partnership between National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and interested US Universities of the consular district of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco.

Besides they agreed to jointly work out the possibility of holding, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, the online presentations of innovative products and projects of the Science Park "Kyiv Polytechnic" at the National Technical University "KPI" for potential investors of "Silicon Valley."
