President Petro Poroshenko will deliver a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos and hold a series of meetings with the world-famous economists, politicians and entrepreneurs to discuss the situation in Ukraine. The top-priority issues are: overcoming the economic crisis, attracting the investments, foreign political situation.
It is planned to hold meetings with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte and Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Keqiang. The President will also have a meeting with IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde. In addition, the President is planning to discuss joint anti-corruption projects with OECD Secretary-General José Ángel Gurría.
Besides, the President will meet with several leaders of private funds and corporations that are willing to invest in the Ukrainian economy.
On January 21, Petro Poroshenko will deliver a report in the framework of the Davos Forum's session "The Future of Ukraine". The report will be available live on the Forum's website: http://www.weforum.org/sessions/summary/future-ukraine-1. The event is to begin at 16:30 (Kyiv time).
The President will also meet with editors-in-chief and journalists of the leading world media.
On January 21, the President will take part in live broadcasts on Bloomberg Europe TV (at 13:35) and CNN (at 17:15).
